what we are about

The Global Alliance for Cycle Cities is an initiative developed by the Team for Nature and Wildlife, Nepal. It was born out of the success of the Kathmandu Cycle City 2020 programme. KCC 2020 aims to make Kathmandu a cycle friendly city by 2020.

Cycle Cities is a global initiative, operating out of the UK. It aims to bring together all types of people to encourage cycling throughout the world. This will be achieved through the creation of ‘cycle cities’ where each city will have its own ambassador, who will co-ordinate actions and cycle promotion in their respective city.

Cycle cities aims to encourage sustainable and socially just development through promotion of the bicycle. Help us break down social barriers and get people on their bikes
